How do I make the watermark semi-transparent?
Use the opacity slider to set how transparent the watermark text appears. A value of 20–30% creates a subtle background stamp, while 80–100% gives a bold, clearly visible mark.
Can I rotate the watermark diagonally?
Yes. Set any rotation angle from 0° to 360°. The classic diagonal watermark is typically set at 45° or -45°.
Will the watermark be permanent or can it be removed?
ZimaPDF writes the watermark directly into each page's content stream rather than as a removable annotation layer. This makes it permanent in the sense that it cannot be deleted simply by clicking 'remove annotation' in a standard PDF reader.
