Frequently asked questions
Is the removal permanent? Can I undo it?
The downloaded PDF will not contain the removed pages. However, ZimaPDF never modifies your original file — it creates a new download. If you need the removed pages back, just re-open your original file and start over.
Will deleting pages break internal links or bookmarks?
Possibly. Removing pages renumbers the remaining pages, which can cause internal hyperlinks or bookmarks that pointed to deleted page numbers to resolve incorrectly. Review the exported PDF to verify that any navigation elements still work as expected.
Can I remove a range of pages all at once?
Yes. Click the first page thumbnail you want to remove, then hold Shift and click the last to select the entire range at once. You can also click each individually.
What is the maximum number of pages I can delete?
You can delete any number of pages up to all but one (a PDF must have at least one page). There is no server-side restriction because all processing is local.
Can I use this on a password-protected PDF?
The PDF must be unlocked before pages can be removed. Use the ZimaPDF Protect tool to remove the password first, then return to the Delete Pages tool.
